12 x 40 cm squares, enough to reach the edge of a double bed. All knitted with 8 ply wool on the diagonal.

Joined together with crochet cotton. Crocheted around each square. Then crocheted together with double chain.

The How

Katia Caricia pure merino wool bought in Madrid on recent hols. Name drop, name drop. Scarf knitted on the diagonal. Cast on 2 stitches. Knit every row. Increase at both ends of every alternate row until required scarf width. Then increase at one end and decrease at the other end until required scarf length. Decrease at both ends until 2 stitches remain. Cast off.

Katia Caricia 4 ply is a beautiful wool with both strength and softness. The structure of the knitted cloth is firm but feels just like baby wool.

Dull Grey Wool No More

The Bloke bought me this wool in Hobart, beautifully spun by Meskills Woolworks - but a dull sheep grey. So I dyed it.
